Camping for an iPhone

Yes, I actually am - I think this is the first tme I have ever camped for anything. Not sure if one can call sitting in line for 3 hours “camping”, but is as close as I’ll ever come :)

For those nearby - the AT&T store on Needham St in Needham MA, only has abou 40 people in line.

Hope you read this article on the “true cost of the iPhone” before you went camping : http://www.centernetworks.com/true-cost-of-the-iphone

I would have been tempted myself but I loathe AT&T / Cirgular so much that I vow never to switch back to them. I’m pretty content with my Verizon Razr for now.

Yes, I’m the proud owner of an 8GB iPhone :)

Its a pretty nice device, but there are definately some features omitted that I would like (no video record, no MMS except throgh email, not BT sync or modem) - hopefullly Apple will live up to their software upgrade promises.

The camping was fun - but kind of pointless since the Apple store a few blocks from my home had a lot in stock when I wet by there on sunday!
