That is pretty nifty. I uploaded a song and sent something to my phone. I hope it works. How is it supposed to arrive? As a text message?
As far as functionality, I wish that the slider for choosing the 20 seconds had some tick marks that showed periodic seconds. If it had that it would make it a lot easier to find the section I want while listing to the mp3 on my computer's mp3 player.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, most phones will get a text message (sms), but if you have a verizon phone (grrrr) we have to send a media message (mms) instead.
I never got the the text message (T-Mobile) :-( I'l try it again, I guess. I wonder if it will work with my phone. Applications for the sidekick has to be signed, I'm not sure if ringtones have to be signed as well.
Ok, let me know if it doesn't work and I'll do some debugging on my end. We have successfully sent to TMobile phones - no signing is required for ringtones.
Just tried it two more times. Still no text messages coming through. :-(
